The car that created the sport sedan market continues to define it with the much anticipated release of the 2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan next month. This all-new BMW revolves around efficiency and performance. The new Driving Dynamics Control switch allows the driver to choose between Comfort, Sport, Sport + and ECO PRO mode, giving you complete control over your driving needs. Included in the new model are BMW EfficientDynamics technologies, including the Auto Start-Stop function, Brake Energy Regeneration, and need-based operation of ancillary components (including an on-demand air conditioning compressor) which play a part in reducing fuel consumption.

The interior of the new 3 Series is as impressive as the exterior, incorporating BMW ConnectedDrive, which offers an unmatched combination of available driver assistance technology and mobility systems. Also available is the latest-generation full-color Head-Up Display, which projects key information, in sharp resolution, directly onto the windshield so it appears directly in the driver’s field of vision.

The 3 Series has Surround View with Side View and Top View available, giving you a bird’s-eye view of the vehicle and the area around it. In addition, an available Parking Assistant system helps the driver to parallel park. Among the other assistance technology available under the BMW ConnectedDrive banner are the Active Blind Spot Detection System and Lane Departure Warning System with camera-based Collision Warning system, being offer for the first time in a BMW 3 Series.
